Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are This Privacy Policy explains how Furball Pets Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 12794595, trading as "Fuzzball" ("Fuzzball", "we", "us" or "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data in connection with The Fuzzball Meowfia ambassador programme (the "Programme"). For the purposes of UK data protection law, Fuzzball is the data controller of the personal data described in this policy.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Scope This policy applies to ambassadors and applicants who use the Meowfia dashboard and participate in the Programme. It does not cover the separate privacy practices of the Fuzzball e-commerce store, or of third-party platforms (such as social media networks) which have their own privacy policies.

3. Personal Data We Collect Account and application data: your name, email address, password (stored only in hashed form), social media handles, audience size, and the information you provide in your application. Payout data: your bank account name, sort code, account number and bank name, used solely to pay your commission. Programme activity: your referral code, referral links, conversions, commissions, payout requests, posting activity, streaks, badges, tier and onboarding milestones. Content: images, videos, text and links you submit or log through the dashboard. Technical and usage data: IP address, device and browser information, and cookie identifiers. Communications: records of correspondence between you and us.

We do not intentionally collect special category data. Please do not submit such data to us.

4. How We Collect Your Data We collect data directly from you when you apply, use the dashboard, log content or request payouts; automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you use our services; and from third parties such as our e-commerce and payment platform (for example, order and conversion information used to calculate your commission).

5. How We Use Your Data and Our Legal Bases To administer the Programme, create and manage your account, track referrals and conversions, calculate and pay commission, and provide the dashboard — on the basis that processing is necessary to perform our contract with you. To prevent, detect and investigate fraud, abuse and misuse, to secure and improve our services, to maintain records, and to manage and promote the Programme — on the basis of our legitimate interests (and yours) in operating a fair, secure programme. To send you Programme-related and marketing communications — on the basis of your consent and/or our legitimate interests, where permitted by law. To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, including tax, accounting and record-keeping — on the basis of compliance with a legal obligation.

6. Marketing Communications We may send you lifecycle, onboarding and promotional emails about the Programme through our email provider. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting us. We will still send you essential service messages relating to your account, commissions and payouts.

7. Cookies and Tracking We and our Programme use cookies and similar technologies, including referral-attribution cookies (for example to remember which ambassador referred a visitor) and a visitor identifier, as well as cookies necessary to operate the dashboard and keep you signed in. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect referral tracking and some functionality.

8. How We Share Your Data We share personal data with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract, including our cloud hosting and database providers, our email/communications provider, and our e-commerce and payment platform. We may also share data with professional advisers, and with regulators, law enforcement or other authorities where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell your personal data. Customer information made available to you as an ambassador is minimised and must be used only for Programme purposes.

9. International Transfers Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we ensure an appropriate safeguard is in place — such as a UK adequacy regulation covering the destination country, or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Standard Contractual Clauses — so that your data remains protected to UK standards.

10. Data Retention We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, including to administer the Programme, and thereafter as required to meet our legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations and to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Financial records are typically retained for at least six years. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

11. Your Rights Under UK data protection law you have the right to: access your personal data; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased in certain circumstances; restrict or object to certain processing; data portability; and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority, at ico.org.uk, though we would welcome the chance to address your concerns first.

12. Data Security We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including encryption of passwords, access controls, and secure, reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to respond appropriately to any data security incident.

13. Customer Data and Ambassadors Where the dashboard displays information about customers your referrals generated, it is limited and minimised (for example, partial or anonymised identifiers). You must treat any such information as confidential, use it only for Programme purposes, and never store, share or use it for any other purpose.

14. Children The Programme is not intended for, and may not be used by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

15. Third-Party Links Our services may contain links to third-party websites and platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

16. Changes to This Policy We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with the "last updated" date shown below. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.

17. Contact Us For any questions about this policy or to exercise your rights, please contact the Fuzzball team using the contact details provided in the dashboard or on our website. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
